This week, we continued developing the app while running ongoing user validations and collecting additional feedback to refine the experience

.

Based on the insights we gathered, we made several key changes:

  1. We decided to split the game creation flow into two separate screens. This makes the process easier to follow and reduces visual load, allowing the teacher to focus on one step at a time. It also reflects the structure of the game itself, which is built around two stages—an opening question and a follow-up activity—creating consistency between the teacher’s interface and the classroom experience.

  1. In addition, we learned that limiting the opening question to 4 answer options felt restrictive. As a result, we added the ability to include up to two additional answers. This creates a better balance between the system’s need for structured input (for group formation) and the teacher’s need for flexibility when designing the question.

  1. We also added a live game management screen that appears once the opening question is displayed in class. This allows the teacher to see which students haven’t responded yet, track overall progress, and decide when to move to the next stage. This feature gives teachers more control over the classroom dynamics during the activity.

We’re continuing to validate and gather ongoing feedback from users. So far, responses have been largely positive, suggesting that the app feels intuitive and easy to use—while still highlighting areas that help us further refine the product.

Alongside the product work, we’ve also started planning our end-of-year video, which will present the solution.
