During the semester break, we took a moment to pause, look back at what we had done, and dive deeper into the work in a more focused way.

One of the main things we did was improve the service design, while trying to better understand how it would actually play out in a real classroom. We shifted from thinking on a conceptual level to thinking in terms of flow, timing, and what happens at each moment in class.

In addition, we explored how to present what’s happening in the classroom in a clear way — both for the teacher and for the students. We aimed to refine an experience that feels simple to use, yet still engaging and able to encourage participation.

A significant part of the work was building a storyboard, which helped us turn the idea into a sequence of moments. The storyboard describes a full scenario: from the teacher preparing the activity before class, through choosing or editing a question and defining the groups, to what happens during the lesson — presenting the question on the board, students answering via their phones, grouping them, and creating interaction between them. Finally, it also shows how the teacher brings the class back to the lesson, and how over time the connections formed between students can be reflected.

Working on the storyboard helped us dive into the small details -- thinking about each step in the process, the transitions between steps, and what each user experiences at every moment.
